Every weekend we have lots of events on offer to members and
a selection of these are open to guests.
And if we are not currently staging
an event you would like to participate in, then let us know and
within
a short time you could be up in the clouds, down a pot
hole or sunning yourself abroad! (plus every event
hosted by a
member = 1 free months membership).
Saturday Nights (see below for details of this Saturday's Events)
Saturday nights are our
party nights and we usually host a full on disco. We look to vary our Discos
such that some are with food,
others with live bands, black tie, also there are themed events,
barn dances,
river cruises, house parties, meals, London walks,
theatre, open air concerts, and not forgetting local events.
Our Saturday events are great value, dinner dances & black
tie balls from only £17.50 a head including
dancing to our DJ's
or live bands and regular Saturday night discos as little as £7
for members
(Guest tickets are usually priced extra and subject to availability).
Sundays (see below for details of this Sunday's Events)
Sundays
are haven for walkers, both those who enjoy 6+ miles serious hikes
to 2 1/2 mile gentle strolls, all of which are accompanied by
a lunch or a picnic etc. We also enjoy Heritage visits, places of interest.
BBQ's, Fun Days, Zoo and Nature Reserves, and of course Golf every Sunday at various clubs throughout Surrey and Hampshire
(no handicaps necessary).
[R]GOLF at a local ‘Pay As You Go’ Golf Club – Venue changes each month, usually a Member’s local course.
Play 9 holes in superb surroundings, call Adrian or Martin – please call by Friday so that we can book the tees.

Rita, Buddy & Gerry invite you our usual alternate Saturday Night DV Disco, tonight it's at Surbiton Golf Club (as a one-off venue) offering a super dance floor, lovely surroundings, well stocked bar at Club prices, glorious patio with breathtaking views over surrey countryside, generous car parking areas, a realy great place to dance, meet new ‘30 plus’ fun crowd and the best range of dance music taking in all the decades.
A great venue for discerning people. Doors Open 8.30pm - 12.30pm

Meet Trudy 11.15am for 11.30am start at the Percy Arms, Chilworth, we are taking a circular walk via the Old Gunpower Mills and then will be a hilly walk up to ST Martha's, hoping to see bluebells in flower like last year on the way. Lunch/drink in Percy Arms after walk.

Absolutely top quality Italian fare, served by people obviously enthused by the food and the job. This place is very popular so please book in asap – has superb reviews and the food is wonderful, as is the wine list and service. Very cosy and not in a hurry to move you on apparently.

DUCK TOUR ‘Amphibian Frog’ UP THE THAMES & London meal
Join Peter & Audrey as our truck goes off at the deep end, plunging into the Thames > luckily it can ‘swim’!! (75 min sight seeing trip) Experience the thrill of cruising on the River Thames & trucking through the streets of London! Travel past famous sights, including the London Eye, Big Ben, Hyde Park & more before launching into the River Thames for an amazing aquatic journey in our amphibious vehicle!

CHARITY TOWPATH TRUNDLE in aid of Princess Alice Hospice.
This annual walk from Walton Bridge along the towpath to Molesey and back is 8 miles (and you qualify for hat or mug!). But luckily there is a half-way stage at the lock, 2 miles down the track, where you can turn around and back-track to The Weir pub for a relaxing and well earned lunch and watch the world (and other walkers and the ducks!) go by… This is a great day out, with a lovely friendly walk for a good cause, so put your best foot forward! Sponsorship forms from Pam, or alternatively £6 to enter. PS: There are other pubs and tea shops along the way so structure your walk to suit your mood.
