Leonardslee is one of England's most spectacular gardens and is world-famous for its May Spring
showing of spectacular rhododendrons and azaleas; Seven Lakes in 200-acre Valley; Wildfowl,
Wallabies and Deer; "Beyond the Dolls House" exhibition (This remarkable 140ft of a scaled
down Estate display now includes a fascinating country town house, an amazing shopping
emporium with a working lift, and many other buildings as might be found in a typical Victorian
Market Town); Licensed Restaurant; Plants for Sale and Gift Shop; Victorian Motor Cars &
Sculpture Garden.

Heritage: THE GLOBE THEATRE

Join Celia for a fascinating guided tour of the Globe Theatre which is included in our visit to Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition £9. Explore the life of Shakespeare, the London where he lived, and the theatre for which he wrote. The extravagant Elizabethan costumes, Renaissance instruments and how they were used, and the dramatic stories of the first Globe crossing the Thames, and the new Globe being reconstructed on Bankside. We will factor in lunch / refreshments. For futher details please call Celia.
Directions: Shakespeare's Globe is best accessed on foot, with excellent footpaths along the river from Waterloo and Southwark Bridge. The Millennium Footbrige is 25 meters from the Theatre
