Your first visit to a Select Connections Event

Coming alone, is it as daunting as it sounds?

The most important thing to remember is that we are a social club, not a dating agency or introduction service. Secondly, don't imagine that when you walk through the door that you will be left alone to wander through a room full of strangers.

We meet you at the door as you arrive and make you feel at home very quickly. Our members are friendly people, and just like you, once faced the decision of coming through our doors for the first time.

Take a look at the picture at the top of this page. The relaxed happy faces convey the great time everyone has once they have taken the plunge to come along and join Select Connections.

I'm still nervous, can I bring a friend?

Yes, of course. Whilst many come alone on their first visit, bringing a friend is OK too. Don't worry if they're not single and not interested in joining our club. Just tell our hosts on arrival and we'll make sure we don't send them our events information at a later date. Normal admission rates still apply but at least you'll have familiar help making that first step. Now try a club night near you ..
